A mountain of relief
July 22nd, 2009 by judytalksUntil I moved to Arizona, I thought monsoons only occurred in other countries. I was wrong! When the heat is in the triple digits for weeks, we can’t wait for a downpour to give relief.
I live in the valley where the sun beats down. A short trip to the mountains last weekend was a blessed respite that gave me renewed energy.
Sometimes it takes very little to turn us in another direction and spark some motivation into our thinking. I came back ready to resume my routine and brainstorm a little.
Our next trip will be to the Twin Cities to see family and to talk about my book, A Child’s Grief. I am in hopes that I can inform and inspire on the subject of loss and healing for children.
It’s been raining the last couple of days and the desert has perked up. So have the people.
Have a great day. Judy
