A New Year's Gift

January 11th, 2010 by judytalks

My company is gone, my decorations are put away, and I’m getting back into a routine. It’s amazing how quickly the dust settles. Just when I thought life was getting dull and predictable again, I received news that my new book has landed!
This book, A Child’s Grief Surviving the Death of a Parent, has had a few bumps along the path to publishing. The manuscript was lost in the post office system, the cover needed revision, endorsements were eagerly awaited (and some failed to show up at all), so I began to wonder if it would ever make it to the finish line. Hooray! It’s a brand new baby and I can’t wait to hold it in my hands.
As I make plans for getting the word out about this book that helps adults help grieving children to heal, I am thankful that it’s warm/cool in AZ., and that I have wonderful people to work with.

Happy January,

A New Year of Possibilities

January 3rd, 2010 by judytalks

One of the best things about ringing in the New Year is ringing out the old. And what a year it was! Personally, I am energized to be looking forward to new options and possibilities. I’m dreaming new dreams and I’m beginning by cleaning and reorganizing my office. Better focus, more positive results, and a tidy schedule are my goals, and that requires priorities. I’m spending the first days of this new year writing down my daily schedule, cleaning up my business habits, and blocking out chunks of time to do what I really love.
Christmas was wonderful, busy, hectic, warm and loving, and filled with close family ties that bind. Hope yours was exactly as you like it.
Happy 2010!
