Information for Grieving Spouses, Families & Helping Professionals

We have accumulated a comprehensive list of different written materials as well as organizations and websites that may be helpful to you in the immediate aftermath and during your grief recovery process. We are constantly updating our list, so check back often for additional resources. If you have any updates or other resources you might want to suggest, please contact us.

Recommended Reading for Grievers and Grief Professionals

There is an abundance of material available for help, guidance, and understanding in the bereavement process. If you are newly bereaved, remember your attention span and ability to concentrate will be diminished, so take it in small does, and try to allow time to contemplate and digest what you have read. As you assimilate ideas, thoughts, and accounts from others who have walked where you’re walking, a sense of connection and a soothing balm may begin to settle on your heart and mind.
